The חפץ חיים says that יעקב said he has כל and עשו says he has רוב, meaning יעקב was satisfied with everything he had and עשו was not. Rav Moshe says a little different פשט that יעקב was saying that he has everything he needs to be an עבד ה׳, but עשו was saying that he has some of what he needs but not everything.
The תפארת שלמה explains that יעקב told שמעון ולוי to put the עבודה זרה away and then do קרבנות because any time when we want to do a מצוה we first need to make sure we have the proper כוונות. Similarly, the ספורנו explains that ״שב שם״ and then offer קרבנות because before you do any מצוה you need to contemplate it.
The רל״ג explains that יעקב came back שלם, standing for שם, לשון and מלבוש meaning that יעקב didn’t get impacted by לבן.
Rav Moshe Schor explains that we learn from יעקב’s fight with the שר של עשו that when you think that you don’t need the ציבור then you will be attacked.
The רל״ג explains that he was actually struggling with the איש, the גאוה, within him, until עלות השחר, until he saw the light that he humbled himself.
The חידושי הרים explains that even though עשו really bit יעקב the תורה says it was a kiss because even the kiss of רשע is like a bite because you don’t want to get close to them.
Rav Chaim Zilka says קטנתי מכל החסדים means that יעקב was saying that he doesn’t deserve the חסד that ה׳ gave him.
Rav Moshe Shternbach explains that יעקב called him בנימין because we don’t look back at our afflictions, but rather at our future and strengths.
